Confirmation at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish is held each year for high school students who have completed a two-year Confirmation program. Typically, candidates enter the first year of Confirmation preparation in the Ninth Grade, and are confirmed near the end of Tenth Grade. The candidates participate in ninety-minute preparation classes twice a month and have the opportunity to participate in several communal ministries (e.g., at The House of Bread, Catherine's Place, Catholic Worker House) as concrete expressions of their maturing discipleship.
An orientation meeting for Year I and Year II Candidates and at least one parent will be held after each mass the weekend of September 12/13; after the 4:00 on Saturday, after the 8 am, 10 am and 11:45 am on Sunday morning and after the 5:00 pm Mass on Sunday evening at 5:00. Please choose a mass that works for your scheduled. Orientation will be about 30 minutes. Parents are asked to bring:
- one non-perishable food item for the Catholic Worker House,
- 1-2 Lottery Scratch Off Tickets for the Golf Tournament Lottery Tree,
- your calendar to sign up for various ministries.
