The Care Ministry assists bereaved family members in preparing the Mass of Christian Burial for their loved ones. A Care Minister meets with family members, or their representative, to assist them in selecting Scripture readings and music for the Mass of Christian Burial. The Care Minister, when possible, also attends the wake and funeral. Care Ministers are able to assist those who are grieving with referrals to other members of the community, or local support services and programs. Our Pastoral Care Team is available to answer questions or to respond to specific needs and can be reached by calling the parish office at 860.756.4034.
